GUN TRANSFER SERVICES

Carolina Sporting Arms will complete firearm transfers on used gun purchases for customers who are sending or receiving guns across state lines or changing firearm ownership locally. This is an especially valuable service when used firearms are so often purchased online. Note: transfers incoming to Carolina Sporting Arms must come from a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. As a Federally licensed dealer we are not allowed to receive any firearms from individuals that do not have a Federal Firearms License (FFL).

How the transfer works:

The firearm buyer purchases a used gun from a dealer in another state (or online). The buyer then pays the seller the price of the gun and shipping charges (if applicable). Then, the buyer should contact their friends at Carolina Sporting Arms to provide relevant information about the sale, including seller's contact information and product information.

Next, Carolina Sporting Arms contacts the seller, to provide a copy of our FFL, receive a copy of the seller's FFL and to share address / shipping information. The seller will send the product to the Carolina Sporting Arms store. Once the firearm is received, Carolina Sporting Arms will contact the buyer to acknowledge receipt of the firearm. Customer can then come in to Carolina Sporting Arms to complete necessary documents for ownership transfer and we take care of the rest.

Carolina Sporting Arms charges a flat fee of $75 for all transfers.
